Fathom pricing in 2026: the free plan’s real limits, Premium, Team and Business

Fathom is free for unlimited recording, transcription and instant summaries, and its paid plans cost $16, $15 or $25 a user a month billed annually ($20, $19 or $34 monthly), as read on fathom.ai on 12 October 2026. Fathom is an AI meeting notetaker: a bot joins the call, or the app listens without one, and a summary with action items follows. The free plan’s limit is not the recording; it is the advanced summaries, which stop after the first five calls each month.

What the free plan really includes
The help centre is specific about where the free plan ends. Recording and storage are unlimited, transcription is unlimited in 38 languages, and the advanced summary, Ask Fathom and AI action items work on the first five calls each month. From the sixth call, the summary falls back to the general template until the month turns. CRM sync to HubSpot, Salesforce and Close is included for up to three users on one email domain, and a personal Zapier integration is included. For one person with a handful of important calls a month, that is a complete product at no cost; for someone with a call a day, the five-call ceiling is reached in the first week.

Team is cheaper per user than Premium because it is bought for at least two people, so a pair who both meet customers pay $30 a month on Team against $32 on two Premium seats. The per-user shape means the bill grows with every person who needs the notes, which is usually everyone who talks to customers.
How Castan prices the same calls
Castan is an AI that builds and runs a company with its owner, who owns everything it makes; its meeting assistant is one part of that. The price is per workspace rather than per user: the free plan captures one hour of calls a month, Founding is $29 a month with five hours for everyone in the workspace, and the plans above it include ten, forty and a hundred hours.
